Live Design has named the d&b Y-Series Sound Product of the Year for Speakers, in their Product of the Year Awards 2014-2015. The Series, described by one judge as, “the one product that will really command attention this year,” was chosen by a panel of respected professionals working within the live entertainment industry.
Each year Live Design bestows awards on products that have been recognized within the design community for representing solid research and development, as well as technological advancement.
The award was presented during the Live Design New York Sound Master Class in June, an annual event that gives industry professionals and students alike the chance to hear from todays most respected designers. “We are delighted to be receiving this,” said US Regional Manager Michael Eisenberg on receiving the award. “Getting this kind of support for the Y-Series from our peers is such an honor; it’s testament to all the people who make these products the success they deserve to be.”
The Y-Series accolade will take its place proudly alongside previous Live Design awards for the D80 amplifier, V-Series and B4-SUB.
