It was with some excitement that Juan Seuba from Puerta de Sonido attended the 2007 Professional Production & Audio awards hosted by Spanish magazine Producción Audio. "As the d&b audiotechnik distributor in Spain I knew we'd been attracting an amazing amount of attention since we first started supplying the d&b J-Series line array."
The high output of the J-Series reaches into large-scale sound reinforcement applications, providing incredibly quick and easily configurable array solutions that draw on the long established d&b holistic approach of integrating loudspeakers, flying hardware, amplification, remote control, configuration design tools and transport solutions. "The J System had already made it to the shortlist; but only one of the three finalists could win the Best PA Product Award. It was an exciting but anxious evening," said Juan Seuba.
The selection process for the awards began with five products being chosen in each of the seven categories. These were published on Producción Audio magazine's website and readers cast online votes. An independent panel consisting of prestigious lighting and audio professionals judged the three finalists. Winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 6th November.
Juan Seuba collected the award on behalf of d&b, "He thanked everyone who has helped to make the d&b project become a reality in Spain," said David Rosello who heads the d&b Office in Spain. "I would like to add my thanks to all our users out in the field, and to everyone who enjoys good sound."
