At the recently held Association of British Theatre Technicians Annual Award Dinner, d&b audiotechnik was honoured with the Product of the Year Sound Award for its new E8 loudspeaker, which was premiered in Great Britain at this annual exhibition.
The ABTT Show was held in London's Horticultural Halls and is recognised for providing a unique platform for manufacturers, designers and suppliers to showcase the latest advancements in technical theatre. So it was that the panel of judges felt that the d&b E8 loudspeaker was a worthy recipient for this year's award. The E8 loudspeaker combines a multi faceted shape that allows for flexible deployment with an innovative horn design that is rotatable through 90 degrees, without the need of any tools.
The E8 loudspeaker forms part of the comprehensive E-Series range of loudspeakers, which includes the renowned E0 and E3 cabinets as well as the recently launched E12, E12-D and E15X-SUB all of which are driven by d&b's D6 or D12 amplifiers and are being widely used throughout theatres in the UK, Europe, America and Asia.
