Special requirements for integration options – extremely frequent with fixed installations or major events – place special demands on sound reinforcement systems today just as in the past, whether they are integrative components in an alarm or evacuation system, or a component in a conference room sound system with media control. Sound systems today must fulfill very special requirements and characteristics if they are to achieve a flexible application.

d&b systems have long offered many functions already integrated to meet these demands. Keywords such as redundant signals, section monitoring, self-monitoring, and priority switching are only a few of the terms which this workshop deals with. Based on many practical examples, various functions, application options, and processes will be shown to configure and integrate a d&b system the right way.
